Heroes

Email this topic | Download this topic

Heroes is a new TV-show about people with supernatural powers. A policeman can hear other peoples thinking, another man can fly, a cheerleader can drop from empire state building and still live, and a Chinese go back and forth in time. Sounds interesting huh? Well, it is. The use of a comic storytelling gives us an authentic view, unlike the already many supernatural shows out there. Within its genre, after Lost and Prison Break, this is the show with the largest fan base.

a hero
a hero is someone u can look up to and trust and u can count on in anytime of need a hero is someone that when u r in a bad situation u can think about what they would do and evd up doing the right thing!!!
Creative genius
The writers and producers of the show do an excellent job of providing a narrative hook each week that leaves you wanting more. The diversity with the cast members is a definite plus. The storylines can be directed toward any of the primary characters, to keep things fresh and new. You can always kill one off and introduce a new character to add to the mystery and unpredictability of the show. I am surprised NBC has not considered a tie-in or cross over with other shows, say Medium, Law and Order to take advantage of this shows popularity.
BEST SHOW EVER
I like the thought of just completely ordinary people having powers and trying to figure out what is going on and not going around in tights going "I'll save you!" with a sparkling smile.
No stereotypes.
The makers have managed to create interesting characters and give them amazing powers, without any stereotypical signs. In other shows I've seen men be able to become superheroes and girls feel their unborn baby. I mean how stereotypical isn't that? On the other hand, Heroes gave the most powerful abilities to females and a childlike Chinese.
Intriguing special effects.
They show a man fly, you believe a man is flying. Heroes has achieved something few similar shows has, the realistic special effects instead of the crappy cheap looking ones other shows make use of.
We can feel what the character is experiencing.
It's not only stone cold guys go back and forth trying to save the world. We actually can see them deal with their new found powers and how those affect them. We get action, adventure and drama in one package. Perfect.
Mysterious feeling.
When watching Heroes you feel like being inside the story, you try to solve the puzzle. "Is that a bad guy or only acts like it?" That kind of questions are floating around in your head. They really manage to catch your attention, that's for sure.
An ongoing plot .
Usually shows like this, supernatural dramas, tend to have a different plot and goal in every episode. For instance in one episode the goal can be to stop a serial killer and in the next to catch a pedophile. In Heroes we follow their journey in saving the world. One goal - one plot.
